For over a decade and a half, Sergio Pereira has penned and aired his thoughts about all things entertainment — from music to movies, comic books, television, and video games. As an entertainment journalist and Rotten Tomatoes-accredited critic, he conducts interviews with high-profile celebrities (such as Kevin Hart, Frank Miller, and Metallica) and writes reviews, lists, and features for the likes of CBR, Screen Rant, IGN, Looper, Ranker, Grunge, SYFY Wire, Thought Catalog, Wrestling Inc., and Fortress of Solitude. Sergio is a published author of various short stories and the urban fantasy comedy novel The Not-So-Grim Reaper. In addition to his journalism work, he scripts YouTube videos for a number of highly rated channels that rake in millions of views and subscribers, and he made the jump into filmmaking as the co-screenwriter of the crime drama film, The Lifesaver.
Before moving into the world of entertainment full time and consuming way too much coffee, Sergio Pereira was an award-winning copywriter for several prestigious advertising and digital marketing agencies. Needless to say, there was never a boring day.
But what does he do when he isn’t working? Thanks for asking! Sergio indulges in the finer things in life, such as watching Jean-Claude Van Damme action movies and taking long walks to the local sushi bar. Additionally, he enjoys accumulating enough information about pop culture franchises such as Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in case his life ever depends on it.
